MILANO UNICA, TEXTILE EXCLUSIVE AND ECO-FRIENDLY SHOWCASE

The XXI
edition of Milano Unica, the main international Italian event completely
dedicated to the presentation of fabrics, textiles and clothing accessories started
on September 8th and ended on the 10th at
Fieramilanocity, Milan.
The name
“Unica” is used as a synonym of singularity, exclusivity and uniqueness. This
event was born, indeed, in 2005 with the desire to concentrate the 5 most
important historic brands connected with representation trade show in just one date and location.
So,
Ideabiella, Ideacomo, Moda In, Prato Expo and Shirt Avenue got together to present the top range products from
European and Italian textile productions.
The fair
will occur from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and its main purpose is to present next season’s 2016-2017 Fall-Winter main
collections in addition to give all the professional and people involved in the
field the possibility to know the current fashion trends and conclude new
commercial relationships aimed at increasing their own business.
From this
Milan date, other three international events were born, that’s to say: Prima
MU, Milano Unica New York and Milano Unica Shanghai , all of them sharing the
idea of showing and promoting the excellence, be it materials, human
creativity, tradition and technology.
The protagonists
are garments and accessories ranging from super-luxury materials to high
performance ones, from handcrafted realizations to exclusive productions, never
neglecting two trendy subject matters, that’s to say, ecology and
sustainability.
Conclusion:
all the items proposed are unique pieces ready to satisfy several styles and
needs without giving away to experimentation and courage to accept new
challenges where Beauty is always the only protagonist.
