YOUR HOUSE TURNS RED
04/12/2013
When Christmas comes, everyone’s involved in changing and decorating their houses thus creating a warm and embracing atmosphere, ready to host family and friends for Christmas holidays.
Few creative and original touches are enough and… Christmas is around: a Christmas wreath or candles here and there on the furniture or tables, from furnishing complements to Christmas style curtains.
Apart from the obviously decorated Christmas tree, adorned with the brightest lights, in line with your own style.
For this reason C.T.A. wants you to suggest some tips or ideas about how to decorate your curtains.
The most important thing is getting inspired by fantasy and creativity, with style!!
A red curtain will be a perfect themed choice indeed, but we have to keep in mind that ornaments and decoration are meant to embellish , not overloading so that you’d better not to use double layers.
Exclude all decorations not letting the light in and difficult to clean up, also pay attention to decorations which can avoid the curtain’s opening or closing.
In order to decorate your curtains you can choose minimal details such as pins, little hooks, some Velcro, referring to the same decorations on the Christmas tree! This touch will give your room a funny look and a Christmas atmosphere, too.
Another idea is decorating your curtain hanging up some Christmas cookies such as gingerbread ones, stars or trees and so on. In order not to stain your curtain, the best thing to do is wrapping the cookies in cellophane envelopes, hanging up these packages with some scotch tape.
In order to capture children’s attention and let them have fun, you should decorate your Christmas tree with all the cards they have written to Santa Claus. They will appreciate that a lot and will be willing to give you a hand to well arrange Christmas cards.
Together with the Christmas cards, you should also add some stockings or Christmas gift wraps.
These are just some little ideas we want you to suggest in order to be reinterpreted as you please or you like best on the basis of your personal style and preferences.
In this way you will have the impression of residing in Santa Clause’s house!
Have fun!!!
