FASHION AND DESIGN INSPIRED TEXTILES

As fashion stylists can create eloquent creations, interior designers can tell endless stories made of substance, corrugations and design. New textiles from Urban Collection internalize fashion and interior design influences thus bringing new life and quality and enhance perfect color choices for minimal, linear and glam fabrics solutions.
Intellectual and creative energy is Urban Collection’s vital force. Rocha, Diesel, Margiela, Navone and Mendini are the Italian artists who inspired these amazing articles.
ROCHA
Rocha’s line is a kind of perfect recap mix between minimalism and exotic decoration, determination and refined elegance just like all the refined clothes by the Irish fashion stylist Simone Rocha. A blended silk background (40% SI 60% PL) with some tone sur tone round macramé lace decorations. Available only in one single color variant (natural), Rocha comes in a 320 cm version and it is available in a double flounce on the lower hem version that makes this textile a perfect window treatment curtain.
DIESEL
Among the well internationally known fashion houses, Dieselis a very popular Italian brand. This fashion brand inspires the namesake line because it shares with it its same young, casual style and street life spirit.
Diesel line (89% VI, 7%PL, 4% AC) has a diamond shaped jacquard decoration on a solid color background. It comes in grey, natural, light sea green, mid blue and old rose pastel tones.
MARGIELA
Due to its deconstructive technique, its great attentions to the details, surrealism and pop style, Maison Martin Margiela, a well-known fashion house for its original white creations, is the inspiration for this CTA namesake line. Margiela fabric is ideal for bedcovers and pillows. Margiela is a blended cotton (69% CO, 26% PL, 5% AC) with an embossed matelassé effect pattern (rhomboidal backstitch). It is available in a 300 cm high version and it comes in three-color variants: natural, dove grey, and light grey.
NAVONE
We are talking about a versatile Italian designer, a true globetrotter. We surely recognize Paola Navone’s talent in her original mix between local artisanship and modern design of her artworks. This artist inspires the namesake textile line made of a horizontally striped blended silk background (74% PL, 13% SI, 13% PL). Some square patterned decoration on a compact base also characterizes this wonderful fabric. Ideal for window treatment curtains, Navone is available in a 315/320 cm high version.
MENDINI
Mendini line is made with a decorative jacquard fabric (100%) with a geometric stippled motif thus bringing back Alessandro Mendini’s creations to our minds. He created design components by decorating pre-existing objects or his own famous creations. Alessandro Mendini is one of the international architecture, art and design artistic background few protagonists. His greatness derives from his dimensional projects in almost every dimensional scale. Mendini is available in a 330 cm high version and it comes in a lively colored palette: natural, dove grey, olive green, orange, grey, cocoa and air force blue.
