After PURITY line fabrics’ launching in the last issue, we are going to introduce you to the other articles of our latest collection. A collection entirely dedicated to an extremely appreciated fiber, that’s to say linen, a very suitable textile during summertime.
AUGUST
Known as an
imperial capital, it was among the most important and populated cities of that
ancient epoch, Augusta Treverorum, is the name given to a CTA line. It is a
mixture of 50% linen and 50% polyester in two different variants: one more simple
and plain texture and an irregular one, made up of irregular streaks which
confers a more crumple effect. Suitable for a more decorative window treatment
curtain, AUGUSTA is available in 13 chromatic variants in natural shades. A
325/330 cm height for the simple and plain variant and 290/295 cm for the
crumpled one.
TAMARA
It’s one of
the twelve “Invisible Cities” introduced by Italo Calvino and the name of this
particular fabric: 100% Flame Retardant polyester is the blend of a dimming
fabric with fireproof properties. It gives a particular Linen effect suitable
for both contract and residential projects. Available in a very high version
(295/300cm) in 22 color variants (grey and dove grey) more than other darker
chromatic shades like burgundy and aqua green suitable for both window
treatment curtains and bedcovers.
OTTAVIA
Ancient
Rome Country village, Ottavia is a 100% polyester article and replaces”
Leocorno” window treatment curtain in CTA catalogue because it will be no
longer available from January 2015.
In 2014 catalogue, we propose it in great height, that’s to say, 310/315 and loses its original stiffness becoming softer to our touch and more opaque to our eyes.
TEODORA
Among the
twelve Invisible Cities described by Marco Polo to the Gran Kan, Tartars
Emperor, TEODORA is the richest collection for images and signs. The fabrics
named after this city is very evocative because it recalls the elegant and
aristocratic capitonné. A 100% linen manufactured with a squared geometrical
motif spaced out by buttons in the same color variant. We propose it in a
130/135 height in white and unbleached linen shades. For more sophisticated
furnishing needs, TEODORA perfectly matches with ZORA solid color fabric (140
H).
TECLA
A typically
Greek name, Tecla is the city where Italo Calvino accompany us in his
“Invisible Cities” tales. Tecla is a mixed blend of 80% Linen and 20 %
polyester recurring in Purity Collection thanks to the great success got with
the previous lines such as INGENUA, ANCORA, ANTARES, IBIZA and NIMES, too. Made
at great height (295/300) TECLA is a delicate and soft linen in natural chromatic shades, very suitable for window treatment
curtains.
