MAISON & OBJET: THE SILENCE

Maison & Objet is the synonim of interior design, creativity and passion. Next appointment with this important European design event will take place from January 20^th to 24^th 2017 in Paris.

Each Maison & Objet edition brings with itself new trends and talents: let’s get ready for a true sensory experience that will involve all emotional, creative and commercial aspects of home decoration, interior design and lifestyle.

This event is divided into three main sections; they are all well combined: “Maison” for interior decoration. “Objet” as the synonym of conceptual experiences designed for retail line and finally “Influences” including the most luxurious lines for design and architecture industry. “Silence” will be the fil rouge of Maison & Objet event. It is about an extremely contrasting theme, an even more out of date topic if we take a reference to the frantic years we are living in western world.

“Silence” doesn’t mean alienation or estrangement deriving from modern fast and chaotic lifestyles. On the other hand, it symbolizes the right time and location where we can find ourselves again in a moment of self-awareness and spirituality. ”Silence” is a real paradise, a relaxing place where we can enjoy life. How can we reach “Silence”? We really get to it through our settings: when we choose white or heavenly color nuances or by painting some refined small dreamlike design elements, we reach a certain perfection that is silence.

Maison & Objet tries hard again to prove that the surrounding space or setting we live in always has some influences on our personality and well-being, our sensations and thoughts.
