MAISON & OBJET AND THE COMFORT ZONE

Maison & Objet, the European Interior Design most expected event, took place from September 8^th- 12^th 2017.

MO17 creates new inspiration and original ideas among the showcases made of more than 3.200 brands and the impressions of more than 85.000 visitors: futuristic design is real, now.

5 days dedicated to a real “Comfort Zone” research:

What do we mean by saying Comfort Zone? Why is Comfort Zone MO17 fil rouge?

Finding and rediscovering human soul basic needs is the main goal. In order to convert these primary necessities into ordinary life we need to reach mental and physical serenity, living peacefully, quitting all the unpleasant situations and habits of a constantly instable world.

A house is the real first “Comfort Zone”. There are several ideas and inspiring advices Maison & Objet gives you: from Bed and Philosophy‘s bed-hammock to Beatnik armchairs with Donar’s integrated subwoofer.

As MO17 “Inspiration Space” set designer Francois Bernard explains, we have to recreate our Comfort Zone not only in our own house. “The Comfort Zone is entering our whole lives, our public dimension, too, such as station, lounge, cinema, offices, etc.…

We have to perceive the place where we work in or spend our time as a pleasant enjoyable setting. This asks for a greater care for an emotional interior design because it donates good vibes and feeling at our first sight.

Maison & Objet is not over, anyway. All over the year there will be a wonderful experience-event called “Maison & Objet and more”: a virtual space where you can choose items from your favorite brands or surf the net inside a virtual showroom thus drawing inspiration for your interior design projects.

When will Maison & Object next appointment take place? It will be on January 2018 from 19^th-23^rd for 2018 M&O edition.
