Harmony and circle's perfection

06/11/2013

Circle as a recurring symbol in the most of world cultures, in its deep conciseness, holds endless meanings.

Circle represents perfection, completeness, union, everything that hasn’t any fracture or interruption.

Lacking in corners and angles, it represents harmony, perfection, homogeneity, in other words, the absence of division and distinction.

Circle, in window treatment curtains and soft furnishings, gives a soft and harmonious atmosphere to the settings, a soft “caress” for those settings that perfectly complete the style where it is.

In our soft furnishings, circle as the main theme found several interpretations, that’s to say, concentric circles,  full texture and on voile…

Cucciolaio (see picture on your left), from Colette collection, presents some con-centric geometric shapes and optical illusions recalling subtle colored pop inspirations. Protagonist of the “first” laser cut in our catalogue, possibly matching with a coordinated soft voile, is suitable for window curtains and bedcovers.

Formentera, (see picture on your right), from Movida collection, taking inspiration from the famous isle from which is named after, proposes a trimming made of a micro net trying to reproduce a sieve that separates wheat grains or a fishnet. On the carved cloth, as an homage to the massive presence of pines extending on the entire area, are attached some circular, full weave cloth pieces, finely sewn with a coordinated color thread. The linear sequence of these circles on three repeated horizontal rows intensifies the transparency of the cloth. The sheen of the whole solid colored drape brings out Formentera white beaches ‘shimmer and shine.

Ibiza, (see picture below on your left) from Movida collection, due to a polyester yarn on a linen cloth recalls the spiral theme extensively repeated on the entire surface in order to exalt the idea of a dizzying movement typical of the eccentric life on the isle we are making homage to, furthermore, to young music culture characterized by the continuous repetition of the same keys, through one tape linking a sequence of spirals. The warm white tone of the linen softens and makes this movement very welcoming.

Circus (see picture below on your right) from Luxury collection, presents a modern concentric motif on a Trevira CS flame-retardant yarn for decorative purpose. Its technical features plus the elegance of this elegant and soft motif, make it the perfect choice for both residential purposes or contract ones.
