CTA NEW 2014 FALL/WINTER COLLECTION ON THE WAY
24/09/2014
2014 fall/winter
season new CTA collection is coming.
The protagonists
are some notorious characters from a precise epoch characterized by a priceless
and abundant artistic production. We are talking about Post-Impressionism, a
period between 1880 and 1900, so called because it created a separation from
the previous years and also for the lack of a only-one style.
Great
painters animated this scene, however while the previous period was
characterized by a certain will of representing faithfully surrounding reality,
post-impressionism wants “to communicate without faithfully representing” (
these are the years when the first camera was invented thus replacing the role
of faithful representation that belonged to great painters’ works of art).
From this
moment on art tries to put two subjects into communication, that’s to say, the
artist and the spectator/viewer, thus separating him from naturalism and paving
the way for expressionism and abstract art.
The common
thread for the art works of these great artists is also the main topic and name
of CTA new collection. Degas, Matisse, Gaugin, Munch, Van Gogh are some of the protagonists who tried to take on new
artistic experimentation through shapes, sharp outlines, vivid color lines and
light cones.
Shortly,
you will see all the details of this wonderful new collection!
