THE SEA IN YOUR HOUSE

14/07/2015

July. A time for holidays or preparations. What are the furnishing elements which can bring marine atmospheres into our houses?

We mean we want to create a light, fresh and above all a comfortable atmosphere. The main goal of this time of the year is, after all, relaxing and chilling after a year of hard work .

When you are choosing window treatment curtains you’d better privilege decorations which recall beaches and sea. Indulge yourself in choosing striped curtains whose undulations reproduce the  Mediterranean weaves and shades like our fabric Bellavista from Colette Collection does.

Or, if you prefer a more sophisticated decoration, you can opt for a graphic motif thus creating an alternation of empty spaces and full spaces, fading from the base of the panel to the top. That’s the case of our fabric Full from The Shape Collection. You ‘ll have the idea of a weave breaking on the shore.

If you like personalize your settings just create some tie-back or embrasses  simply using some shells put on some ropes thus wrapping your curtains.

We love sea but…we love sand, too!

Have fun with all different white, beige or sandy shades as the same ones presented in our fabric Augusta from Purity Collection available in a more “crumpled” variant with irregular stripes thus stressing this effect of sand grains in motion.

For a classy touch, our fabric Maiorca from Movida Collection reproduces the typical jewel of this city with the same name: the artificial pearl, a unique and precious jewel. The nuances of the decoration ranges from golden yellow to purple/violet and it is connected to the idea of some fish scales from which the precious pearls are produces.

Ibiza fabric from the same collection will bring you straight to this Spanish isle: the spiral is the symbol of the singular, eccentric life of this country while the white variant, the white tone sur tone variant, enhances the Mediterranean magical islander atmospheres  as well as exalting the prevalent color of the island.
