FLAIRS 2015
03/06/2015
Clothes,
accessories, home furnishing and lifestyle. Every year we notice a break in
current trend. It catches our attention
and as we reinvent or reinterpret it according our personal style, it becomes
part of our daily life.
So, what’s
2015 home décor fabrics’ personality?
The “core”
is Nature with all its “green” elements but also fibers, colors, and other
decorative motifs.
Let’s start
from the PROTAGONISTS: flowers and butterflies liven up the house thus breaking
the distance between inner space and outer space such as Erbario fabric from Colette Collection.
The most
valuable and refined fibers are linen and cotton since they are extracted and
produced according to a natural process as it is 100% linen Zora fabric from Purity Collection characterized by a soft texture.
Colors draw
inspiration from the nuances of the soil, the plants, the stone, the sky and
wood. So, let’s give way to light brown and dark brown, to dove grey and sandy, ecru, blue/silver, beige.
The
decorative elements on the fabrics do not represent faithfully reality and they
appear like simple and linear geometrical shapes such as stylized flowers
painted on Magnolia from Evergreen
Collection and the branches of the tree and the leaves that decorate the
surface of Essence fabric from the Shape Collection. In brief, three
are the keywords of this new 2015 trend: minimal, natural light, warm
athmosphere.
