The choice of window treatment curtains is fundamental in order to set the atmosphere of a setting: color, depth, softness are all important features that will change the way light radiates in the space, conveying that energetic and lively feeling or relaxing and comforting atmosphere or finally a professional or reliable one. Which is the right choice for our spaces? First of all fabrics: Curtains sometimes furnish in a better way than furniture so that fabric choice is the key. For those who prefer delicate nuances or shades the ideal choice is subtle colors because they harmonize with whatever furnishing and style. Moreover they give the setting style and elegance. In the end, the type of a curtain: the most popular are rod curtains, but we have different kinds: roll-down curtains, drapery, window attached curtains. It all depends on the amount of space we have: if we have narrow spaces we can choose some curtains directly attached on the window glasses as opposed to wide spaces in which we can use double rod curtains, lighter on the inside and a double covering panel for a major shielding from sun rays. In the end there’s another option: roll-down curtains, ideal choice for huge windows positioned near a sofa or in the kitchen. What about you? Which is your favorite kind?
