WINTER HOUSE
13/01/2016
It’s a
freezing cold winter. A weather like that can only push us to dream of spending
our days at home, in our warm houses. It is a house that continuously changes
its appearance, collects all the colorful suggestions of winter-like landscapes
thus reinterpreting them to create some warm and cozy corners.
In order to
convert our house into a shelter, a place where we can be protected we suggest
you to opt for dark tones so that you can create a ‘chalet’- effect house.
Embracing
chocolate tones (in the picture: Bergamotto fabric Variant n 5 from Iris
Collection) are able to welcome our relatives in an embracing warm natural
comfortable atmosphere.
Beige
shades (in the picture: Augusta fabric, Variant 8 from Purity Collection) are
also perfect: they are a little darker and have some light golden glares.
For
brighter settings , better opting for lighter and more delicate colors such as
dove-grey (in the picture: Henri fabric from Purity Collection) which is , from
some years on is now a trendy choice in home-décor.
Differently
from traditional grey, dove grey derives from the combination with beige which
makes grey a warmer tone.
This shade
of gray is perfect for whatever setting: from the kitchen to the living room,
from the bathroom to the bedroom dove grey tones are able to convey a feeling
of quietness and serenity.
If you live
in a very winter-style house, cover your armchairs and sofas with some small
blankets or woolen pillows…you won’t spend time elsewhere but in you comfy warm
house!
